Using Colossus : A gigantic 3D printing technology that allows unlimited creativity when it comes to produce objects with recycled plastic.

Colossus is a unique machine that prints at unprecedent speed of up to 9kg/hr with a built volume of 5m3 (270 x 125 x H 150 cm). Its nozzle goes from 2 to 8mm with layer height resolution from 0,5 to 3mm.

Colossus prints a large number of plastics: PET, PP, PLA, ABS, TPU, …

Colossus is built within a 20 ft container for easy transportability and showcasing on events. For events, we collect plastic on site and organise a live printing of recycled plastic furniture or any object that will blow the mind of your attendees.

We also use small 3D printers for creating smaller objects out of recycled plastic.

We are making the only cup made of 100% recycled PET plastic for events, festivals, concert halls, etc.

The industrial method used to make these cups is called thermoforming: a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mould, and trimmed to create a usable product. The sheet is heated in an oven to a high-enough temperature that permits it to be stretched into or onto a mould and cooled to a finished shape.

Injection moulding

Injection molding principle is easy: melted plastic is injected into a mould and once the part is sufficiently cool, the mould opens and the part is ejected.

Injection moulding is the best technology to make large numbers of the same object with recycled plastic. The main investment is making a tailor-made mould for the desired object that will be produced in series.
